How we test
Every subscription reviewed here ran for a full quarter on the same British connection. The score is whatever survived that.
Most IPTV reviews describe a free trial. That is the one period in which any provider looks good, because a new account rarely lands on a busy server and nobody has oversold the capacity yet. Judging a subscription that way tells you almost nothing about what you are buying.
Ninety days, one line
We buy each subscription at the public rate and leave it running for a full quarter on the same domestic fibre connection, watched through the boxes people here actually own: a Firestick, an Android set-top box and a Smart TV app. Nothing is tested in isolation on a quiet Tuesday. The viewing that counts happens on weekend afternoons and weekday evenings, when a provider's servers are carrying everybody else too.
The fault log
Every interruption gets written down with a timestamp. A stream that will not start, a freeze longer than five seconds, a channel that vanishes from the list without notice, an app update that breaks playback on one device. Maintenance announced in advance is recorded separately, because a provider that warns you is behaving differently from one that simply disappears.
That log is the score. It is why our order differs from sites that rank on price, and why a service can be cheap and still finish near the bottom of this page.
Support is part of the test
Each provider receives the same three questions at different points during the quarter, sent from an ordinary customer account with nothing to identify us. How quickly they reply, and whether the answer is any use, is scored alongside everything else. A service that breaks occasionally but fixes things quickly beats one that breaks rarely and ignores you when it does.
Paying our own way
Subscriptions come out of the site budget through the same checkout anybody else uses. We hold no press accounts and take no complimentary logins, because a provider aware it is being reviewed does not behave like one that is not.
How this site earns
Some outbound links are affiliate links, so a subscription bought after following one can pay us a commission. Position in the rankings is not for sale, the rate paid has no bearing on a score, and you pay exactly what you would have paid arriving directly.
